There are four categories in Annan’s Big Parade and 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded in each.
The David Taylor Shield will be presented to the winner of the Most Humorous category.
In addition, Parade Judges will also recognise those entries that are Highly Commended. (Subject to change)
Judging for Pride of Procession will take place across the entire procession from Silverlaw to the High Street and this coveted prize will be announced during the evening’s prize giving ceremony.
Any participating group has a chance of lifting this shield, which will be awarded to the best ‘overall package’.

Entrants should assemble at St Andrews Social Club on Standalane in time for the judging at 11.30 am.
